There are many ways to be part of Chiguru Farm — whether through service, learning, contribution, or shared vision.

Desi cows are at the heart of natural farming. At Chiguru Farm, our Desi Gow Shala houses native breeds such as Hallikar, Deoni, Malnad Gidda, and Gir.

We follow ethical and traditional practices:

  • Free grazing
  • No artificial or outside feed
  • Milk first goes to the calf
  • No artificial insemination
  • No abandonment of aged cows
  • No selling of male calves/bulls to butchers

However, maintaining cows sustainably involves significant cost — including fodder cultivation, labor, and cowshed maintenance.

For those who feel deeply connected to Gow Seva but cannot maintain cows personally, we offer sponsorship options:

Sponsor a cow for one year – ₹15,000
Sponsor a cow for three months – ₹4,000

Sponsors may:

  • Visit the farm once every quarter with family for a day
  • Enjoy complimentary lunch during the visit
  • Annual sponsors may opt for a one-day family stay (2 adults + 2 children) once a year instead of quarterly day visits

This initiative is ideal for those who want to experience farming without purchasing land.

You can sponsor a portion of land (quarter, half, or one acre) for one crop cycle and actively participate in the farming journey.

How it works:

  • You choose the crop
  • You pay a fixed seasonal fee (sowing to harvest)
  • We handle cultivation and labor
  • Seeds can be sourced by you or through us
  • The entire harvest belongs to you
  • You are welcome to participate in farming activities
  • The package includes limited stay during the sponsorship period

Duration: Minimum 4 months, maximum 12 months.

This is a hands-on, real farming experience — not a simulation.
